      Sizes are determined by the distance from the center of the cold knob to the center of the hot knob.

 Garden Tub

This faucet mounts on the surface of the garden tub.  Hot and cold handles are connected by hoses.

Tub: 8 inch

3 Valve Diverter

Faucet has three handles, brass underbody, spout, and shower head.

Tub: 8 inch One Piece

Holes are NOT in a line.  See second picture.

The riser pipe for the shower screws into the faucet and is exposed on the shower wall.
